September 7, where did summer go? An update on golf. I was in the finals for 1st flight champion, and lost on the 17th hole. I was doing fine, then missed a chip on 15 and a wide open second shot on 16. It is pretty imtimidating to have all those people watching you and try to hit good shots. I did shoot a 78, and still lost. Oh well try again next year.

It is Saturday morning, and I just returned from watching the PGA Championship at Oakland Hills. As a golfer, what an amazing thing to watch those guys play golf from 3 feet away. They make it look so easy. I bought a new hat, mostly to keep from burning up the top of my head. I wanted to take photos, but they do not allow phones or cameras on the course. For good reason I think. Anyway, after we watched that we drove down to Toledo, spent the night then played Inverness, one of the most famous courses in the world. I shot a 80 on it, and if I could putt, I would have broken 80. What a place. The greens were table top hard and roller coaster in shape. Very hard to putt. All for now. Rod

I also got new truck yesterday. Pretty nice. I had some new videos to post, but I will have to do them at another time. Please keep checking, you will enjoy them. VERY entertaining and some are a little political

Well, it is late March, and it is getting close to time to head for Michigan, but first I have to go to Florida to help Emily with her first purchase of a condo, and her BIG 30 birthday. I probably shouldn't say anything, but she got a AARP invite in the mail. How good is that? The stay this winter has been VERY good, and I know now that both of my daughters are smarter than me, they left the north behind a long time ago. I have not missed the snow at all.
